The products below include oak, primed and pre-finished FD30 options. FD30 describes a tested fire-resistance performance, but the label on a door leaf does not by itself guarantee that the finished installation is suitable or compliant. The permitted frame specification, ironmongery, seals, glazing, fixings, gaps and installation details must be checked against the supporting test evidence and the requirements of the particular building.
Official guidance explains that a fire doorset should be regarded as a complete installed assembly, with the door, frame and ironmongery considered together. Existing frames may sometimes be retained, but their suitability must be assessed and alterations or replacement may be required. Whether a fire door is required, the rating needed and whether features such as a closer are necessary depend on the property and its fire-safety design.
